This property is absolutely wonderful...beautiful, with surprise sculptures scattered around the wilderness, a beautiful pond with a fire pit and chairs for roasting marshmallows, and the lodge itself is huge, immaculate, and so much fun. The media room is wonderful with two huge couches, a TV, various games, and two big dinning tables. The whole family could hang out in there together and do their own thing or play games together. We will definitely come back!

Our group enjoyed an amazing vacation at the lodge! The grounds are impeccably manicured and the home is stunning. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need and there is a large grill outdoors. We enjoyed making s’mores in the fire pit and dining outside on the picnic tables. It was a very charming and luxurious way to enjoy Florida’s nature and beautiful weather. Also the host was very responsive to our questions. We will be staying here again! We absolutely loved it!

Whether you are throwing a casual family/friend get together or an elegant wedding, this is the place. The staff accommodated our every need with a response time that was amazingly quick. The jaw dropping, awestruck moment you get when you open the front doors of the lodge only gets better as you explore the enormity of it. The grounds are impeccable. I think the mere mention of a firepit on an island should be rewritten because it doesn't do it justice. The fire pit is made from a piece of culvert piping that is huge and deep and there are Adirondack chairs to put around it already there. At night, you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere (which you are) surrounded only by nature gazing into the flames of the crackling wood they provided. I recommend this property for any event.

Roger - October 2020 - Solitude, Peacefulness, Great Getaway!

If you are looking for a place to hold a small retreat or a place just to get away and hide amongst 800 acres, without the hustle and bustle of internet, this is THE PLACE to go. The property is secluded yet close enough to the city for conveniences. The grounds are kept well, we didn't try the fishing but will definitely rent again to do so, and the house was very well kept. The owners communicated better than anyone I have ever experienced on VRBO. This would be a great wedding venue or for any outdoor type event and can handle any amount of people. Worth the price and will definitely rent again!

Our stay at the lodge was absolutely wonderful and our family had a blast. The property is beautiful and professionally maintained by the host. We also love the sculptures and arts inside and outside the house, and essentially provided a distraction that gave us a much-needed break from all of our usual ways of thinking. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a classic, elegant and peaceful stay for their family or event.
